How to Enable Pop-ups in Different Browsers

Safari (Mac)

1. Open Safari on your Mac.
2. Go to the Safari menu in the top-left corner and select Settings (or Preferences in older versions).
3. Navigate to the Websites tab.
4. In the left-hand sidebar, select Pop-up Windows.
5. You'll see a list of currently open websites and their pop-up settings.
   • Locate your website in the list.
   • Change the setting for your site to Allow.
6. If your site isn’t listed, use the dropdown menu labeled When visiting other websites at the bottom-right corner and set it to Allow (or Ask to prompt users for each pop-up).

Safari (iPhone/iPad)

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Scroll down and tap Safari.
3. Under the "General" section, turn Block Pop-ups Off.

Google Chrome

1. Open Chrome on your computer.
2. Click the three dots in the top-right corner and go to Settings.
3. In the left-hand menu, select Privacy and Security.
4. Click Site Settings and scroll down to Pop-ups and redirects.
5. Under "Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects," click Add next to "Allowed to send pop-ups."
6. Enter your website’s URL and click Add.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Open Firefox on your computer.
2. Click the hamburger menu (three lines) in the top-right corner and select Settings.
3. Navigate to Privacy & Security from the left menu.
4. Scroll down to the Permissions section.
5. Uncheck Block pop-up windows, or click Exceptions to add your website’s URL and allow pop-ups for it.

Microsoft Edge

1. Open Edge on your computer.
2. Click the three dots in the top-right corner and go to Settings.
3. Select Cookies and site permissions from the left-hand menu.
4. Scroll down and click Pop-ups and redirects.
5. Toggle Block off, or click Add under Allow to add your website’s URL.

Informing Users

You can guide users to enable pop-ups for your site with a message or tooltip:
